An authentic German Brass Band since 1945
- “Bro” Wagner started the band in 1945. The band quickly gained popularity and was soon playing for many notable ethnic clubs in the Chicagoland area including Jolly Burgenlanders, Rosegger-Steirer Club, Almrausch, Austrian Social Club, Edelweiss Schuplattler Verien-Chicago, Chicago Steirer Club at the Steirer Alm in Lilly Lake, and was a mainstay at Ringbauer's Hall.

- In the early 1980’s Bro’s son Ed became the band leader. The band continued to perform at numerous German, Austrian, and Czech cultural events as well as countless Oktoberfests. Now, over 80 years since it all began, the band is still playing throughout Chicagoland and the Midwest. The band is comprised of second and third generation musi

Now, over 80 years since it all began, the band is still playing throughout Chicagoland and the Midwest. The band is comprised of second and third generation musicians, most of which are descendants of the original members.
